I am Valentina, a 22 year old filmmaker.
Being an independent audiovisual producer, I created VAL as a mean of displaying my content - which ranges from institucional videos and photos to short narrative films and videoclips - to a wider audience through social media, and to be able to contact and interact with clients through a more casual and accessible manner.
With my work, I strive to carry out the concept of making consistently high quality films and photos on a small budget and crew. I generally tend to take charge of all the stages of the production of an audiovisual piece, from screenwriting and shootings to post-production.
I tend to keep my filmmaking style flexible to the demands of clients and brands, while also adding bits of my own personal approach to each subject. I always like to think of filmmaking as a way of telling stories and thinking outside the box, whether you are advertising a product or producing an artistic piece. Building a creative narrative is one of the essential elements in my work, alongside the recurrent use of vibrant color palettes and fast-paced editing.
